Our services included fatal flaw analyses, ore reserve estimates, capital and operating cost estimates, cash flow analyses and pre-feasibility studies.
Prepared conceptual mine designs and pre-feasibility studies for a variety of projects including AZCO's Sanchez Copper Project and Mesa Mining’s White Mesa project in the USA, AZCO’s Piedras Verdes Copper Project and Laminco’s Luz del Cobre Project in Mexico and Yuma Copper's Tuina Project in Chile.

Materials Handling. Evaluated materials handling systems and prepared conceptual design, capital and operating cost estimates for a new 10,000 ton per hour ore and waste handling system at Freeport's Grasberg Mine in Indonesia. Managed design and construction of long overland conveyors in the USA and India.
Environmental Permitting. Obtained permits and environmental approvals for copper and industrial minerals projects in the USA, Mexico and Chile. Prepared mining and reclamation plans for projects on federal and state lands in the USA. Prepared Mineral Development Reports required for Arizona State Mineral Leases for numerous clients. Provided mining and mine reclamation estimates US Forest Service and US Bureau of Land Management. Prepared Environmental Assessments required by the Arizona Department of Transportation for materials sources. Obtained Air Quality Permits, Aquifer Protection Permits, NPDES Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans and Section 404 permits for numerous clients.

Designed solvent extraction plant for rhenium recovery at the Sierrita Mine in Arizona, USA. Designed in-situ leach, solvent extraction/copper sulfate plant for Luz del Cobre project in Mexico. Designed and supervised construction of crushing, screening and stockpiling system for industrial minerals producer in Arizona, USA. Provide ongoing mine planning and engineering services for small mine operators. Developed mine reclamation cost calculation software for the US Bureau of Land Management.
